Recently I was surfing internet and found that most of the peoples in the world were looking for the Item Girls. Whether they are looking for the Item dancers or Real Item girls for their satisfaction is not sure. But in my website most of the guys enter the page related to Item girl Yana Gupta. So I started searching for some more news related to Item Girls in Indian film industry, but I was not able to see much, comparing to half a decade back.
Long back our Indian film Industry had many Item Dancers in the list. We had “Yana Gupta”, “Mumaith Khan”, “Munni” and so on in that very long list. But these days we are not able to see them on screen.
Why because, now-a-days the yesteryear lead actress became Item Girls, for example, Madhuri Dixit in Yeh Jawani hai Deewani and Kareena Kapoor in Dabangg 2. More over the heroines from other language movies are also called for Item dancer, like Priyamani in Chennai Express. These made Item dancer numbers less in Indian Film industry.
We can say it as a good time for Item girls also. Yes, they are trying for one Item song, but they are getting offer to do the Lead role or second heroine in this film industry. We have seen Mumaith Khan in lead role in few south Indian movies. Sunny Leon also may be in this list.
